Children and Young People at SJKP

At SJKP church, we have activities for young people of all ages taking place during the second part of the 11am worship service and all our volunteers are PVG checked. We would love to welcome your children to any of our groups and let you enjoy the service in peace!

For babies (0 to 3 years)

We run a creche for babies from 0 months to 3 years every Sunday during morning worship – in a room designed for the purpose at the back of the church building. The creche has leaders and willing volunteers helping on a rota system. The children benefit from a variety of toys to keep them occupied.

JAM (Jesus And Me) Club

For toddlers (3 to 5 years)

This exciting children’s ministry provides a safe and fun environment for the children to learn about Jesus – with prayer, Bible stories, singing, games and crafts. The teaching is appropriate for children between 3 and 5 years of age, but we are also happy to have children who are nearly 3 or just over 5 depending on the needs of the child.  Parents are welcome to stay with their children until they are happy to be left. JAM Club takes place in the small hall at the back of the church during morning service every Sunday.

Sunday Club

For Primary School age children

Sunday Club, for children of primary school age, takes place during the Sunday morning service. A mix of activities, including crafts, songs, active games and drama, is used to support our Bible teaching – so there is something for everyone. Lots of fun is guaranteed! We have a team of experienced leaders and helpers, working in pairs each Sunday.
